Phillips Pro Audio was founded in 1976 by musician / studio engineer Kenny Phillips to fill a need for high quality regional concert sound and lighting reinforcement. By the middle eighties stage lighting was phased out and the company evolved into a live sound and location recording provider. Back-line rentals also became a big part of concert requirements. During the eighties and nineties Phillips Audio toured extensively with artists from country to broadway. In the new millennium for PPA concert touring has been replaced by specialized design and construction of sound, video and lighting for live theater and movie production. Rockhouse Cinema is a state-of-the art production/post production facility located in Oklahoma City, the heart of the U.S.A . We produce all types of audio and visual content ranging from regional commercials to feature length motion pictures. Using an extensive set of waveform editing tools, soundtrack clean up, ADR, foley sound and forensic enhancing are specialties of Rockhousecinema Studio.
Built in 1997 by Grammy award-winning recording and live sound engineer Kenny Phillips, Rockhousecinema Studio was created to push the envelope of film, video, audio and music production.
Our facility features cutting edge hardware and software including Avid Media Composer, 2- Pro Tools TDM HD-3 systems, 3 Final Cut Suites, motion graphics workstations and a recording studio complete with a Steinway piano, exotic microphones and more instruments than you'll know what to do with. All of this hardware and software is nestled in a very cozy environment so that clients can actually relax and enjoy the sometimes hectic production process.
